Cine images of MR defecography for outlet obstruction and constipation. The images are taken in the sagittal plane through the bladder, vagina, uterus, rectum and anus.
Notice the inability of the patient to pass the bright white contrast from the rectum. The diagnosis in non-relaxation of the puborectalis muscle. Anal manometry and electromyography supported this diagnosis.
