Case description

The LAP-X is a special designed surgery simulator with the aim at laparoscopy skills training. Through the special controller design in combination with the exercises, the LAP-X delivers you a training simulator for all minimal invasive surgical fields.

This is the exercise "Peg transfer left handed" in the Novice II curriculum of the LAP-X

Task description

Transfer the objects one by one from the left side of the board to the right side. Lift each object with a grasper in your right hand and transfer it in midair to the left hand. Place each object on to a peg on the other side of the board. There is no importance placed on the color of the objects or the order they are placed in.

Once all objects are transferred to one side of the board you should transfer them back to the original side in the opposite procedure. Grasp the object with your left hand and transfer them in midair to your right hand. Place each object on to a peg on the original side of the board with you non-dominant hand. There is no importance placed on the pegs you place the object on. In case an objects falls, do not grasp them. Each transfer must be mid-air, without using the pegs or block for assistance.
