ESSO - KBCS Webinar on Surgical Choice in Breast Cancer: Navigating between Oncoplastic Surgery and Mastectomy

This topic of our next joint webinar between ESSO and the Korean Breast Cancer Society will discuss how the oncoplastic approach could lead to reduction in mastectomy rates without compromising the oncological and aesthetic outcomes of breast surgery. Partial breast reconstruction with oncoplastic volume displacement and replacement techniques can improve the overall outcomes of breast cancer surgery, avoid mastectomies and offer improved patient reported outcomes. We will also introduce the concept of minimally invasive breast surgery techniques, focusing on endoscopic nipple sparing mastectomies.
