Case description

In this video there are presented some issues related to use of medications while breastfeeding. There are few factors, which determine drug passage to the milk, like molecular weight, drug concentration, lipid solubility, degree of protein binding, degree of ionization, volume of distribution and half-life of drug. There is also some dependence on infant metabolism concerning pharmacokinetics.
