Case description

In Tetralogy of Fallot, a central shunt, such as a Blalock-Taussig shunt, is sometimes used to improve blood flow to the lungs. It creates a connection between the systemic circulation and pulmonary arteries to address the cyanosis associated with the condition. However, surgical approaches may vary based on individual cases.
