Case description

A young female patient with a previous history of chemotherapy for gynecologic malignancy. She had right subclavian chemotherapy port catheter. Because of her dyspnea and fatigue, she was evaluated with echocardiography which revealed a right atrial mass. We thought it to be a thrombus at the tip of the catheter. As she had a malignancy history, we were not 100% sure of its nature, so that we planned to excise it for pathologic evaluation.
