Conscious (or should that be unconscious) Sedation in G.I. Endoscopy

The presenter will present on his world-wide experience with sedation vs. unconscious sedation in endoscopy. Also included in this presentation are the legal aspects of sedation, consent and risks of litigation, classification of sedation and assessment of level of sedation during endoscopy. Medications in endoscopy, use of propofol and training issues for sedation in endoscopy, will also be discussed.
