Case description

After completion of this video, you will be able to identify and discuss some features of the lung and thoracic wall:
Pleural cavity, surface anatomy and relations of the costodiaphragmatic recess of pleura, pleural effusion, relations of the visceral surface of the lungs, structures at the hilum of the lung, lung lobes and fissures, parts and articulations of a typical rib, where the rib is more vulnerable to fracture, structures passing through the diaphragm, where the fluid tends to accumulate in the pleural cavity, whey the lower lobe of the lung is located posteriorly.
