- Prof. Wiesła Nowiński, DSc, PhD, is a Polish scientist, innovator and entrepreneur; creator of "world’s most gorgeous" human brain atlases. Currently, associated with the Agency for Science, Technology and Research in Sinpapore. Author of over 500 scientific publications, 51 patents ()32 of which have already been granted), and 35 brain atlases he developed otgether with his team. Prof. Nowinski has proposed a number of new concepts, including atlas-assisted processing of medical images, do-it-yourself neurosurgery, helical stereotaxy, operating room of the future, probabilistic functional and stroke atlases, and atlas-assisted stroke image processing.
