- Dr Kua is an experienced urological surgeon specialising in the holistic management of patients with prostate cancer. He is accredited to perform da Vinci robotic assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy at The Wesley Hospital. He is also well trained to perform non-robotic laparoscopic radical prostatectomy and prostate brachytherapy (both high and low dose rates) as other treatment modalities for prostate cancer.
Dr Kua also offers reconstructive surgery in the form of penile prosthetic surgery for erectile dysfunction and male sling surgery for urinary incontinence. Although he has a special interest in prostate cancer, his practice is not limited to prostate cancer as he accepts patients with other urological conditions such as urolithiasis, renal and bladder cancers and BPH.
Dr Kua completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Queensland. He did his urological training in Queensland and New South Wales and obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (Urology) in 2005.
