Case description

This 14-year-old suffered measles as an infant. The rubella infection interfered with the formation of that portion of her permanent teeth that was actively being developed of the time of the illness. As a result, the earlier forming upper central incisors are affected halfway down the crown, whereas the later forming lateral incisors are affected at the tip.
