Case description

A small nasal polyp is arising from the area of contact between the right middle turbinate and the superior portion of the uncinate process. This "Sentinel" nasal polyp may be just the tip of an "iceberg", or simply a tiny localized nasal polyp. A CT scan will be required to determine what is hiding behind this tiny polyp.
