Case description

The administration of a suitable broad-spectrum antibiotic is still the treatment of choice for acute uncomplicated bacterial sinusitis. Now that the acute infection has completely resolved, the predisposing anatomical abnormality can now be clearly identified as a medially bent uncinate process and a concha bullosa of the middle turbinate.
