Case description

Seborrheic keratoses are benign tumors appear after the third decade of life. Clinically, the appears as raised, greasy, "stuck on" lesions with visible keratotic plugs filling a central irregular crypt. A seborrheic keratosis may vary in colour from light yellow through brown to black with the intensity of the colour varying with the amount of melanin pigment present in the lesion. When examined with a magnifying glass, keratin or horn cysts may be seen on the surface of the lesion.
