Deep Self Cleansing Retraction Pocket
Case description
Note the large posterior deep retraction pocket is right tympanic membrane. The tympanic membrane has lost its fibrous middle air and has been retracted immediately to form a retraction pocket through which the long process of the incus and the stupidity of tendon can be clearly seen. It is important to note that this retraction pocket is self cleansing and is not accumulating keratin debris.
