Case description

This patient recently sustained a laceration of the skin of the external auditory canal which bled into the canal. Note the recent clot in the floor Of the external auditory canal. The fresh blood can be seen on the left, this is jellylike and easily removed with suction. Note on the right the quiet has started to become desiccated. As a client to rise and desiccate's it turns into a rocky hard mass which is extremely difficult remove without causing pain or possible further damage to the external canal Skin.
