- Data is commonly distributed in a bell-shaped curve, known as the Gaussian distribution, but may be skewed to the left or right.
- Measures of central tendency, such as the mode, median, and mean, can be used to analyze data.
- The variance and standard deviation of the data can be calculated, and the size of the sample affects the width of the confidence interval. The speaker also mentions null hypothesis and types of errors.
