Case description

Fugo Plasma Ablation has developed a new innovative surgical strategy, helpful by inadvertent tear in the posterior capsule during cataract surgery. The tearing edge can be quickly ablated by a surgeon and in that way the tear is removed and capsule is free from continious tearing. This strategy takes seconds and provides the patient with a primary posterior capsulotomy and a healthy capsule edge. Posterior Chamber IOLs can be easily palced in these strong capsule edge. Thank that maneuver can be saved about a half an hour of surgical time. There also no stitches needed to sew a posterior chamber lens onto the inner sclera, the enlarged surgical incision in order to implant an anterior chamber intraocular lens is also no need.
