Case description

I am running 83 rd year. Due to my health concerns, I did not operate on a case of ptosis, for a long time, since the surgery takes a long tiring time. The operation that I did last was flawless and there was hardly any bleeding. The film shows all the surgical steps with great clarity. The fundamental idea is to bring together LPS and Muller muscle. The union is floating inside the orbit, while in that process, the LPS has been advanced. The surgery is easy to learn. No harm can be done if the result is less than perfect. It can be enhanced at a later date. An overcorrected surgery too can be corrected, of course at a second sitting. 80 micron steel is the best suture that I have found with experience. It is available from hardware stores or from the internet. See my Cataract & IOL book on meditube.net for how to make an atraumatic steel suture.
