Case description

Failed glaucoma is always a possibility. Therefore one should do least damage to the structures under the conjunctiva (lymphatics, what else?). We should try to avoid the old operated tissues and try to find a new "virgin" area. In a case like this, it is wise to deposit mitomycin C (2 mg in 4 ml saline in this case) under the bleb, to minimise scar formation.
