Case description

Ths is presentation of modified trabeculectomy. New technique that enables the aqueous to reach a tunnel in deep sclera and go through smoothly and easily with minimal resistance. This tunnel extends after scleral flap. Guiding the aqueous to the tunnel (1mm) will result in a higher rate of drainage per unit area compared to that occurs in conventional trabeculectomy where the filtration occurs along the whole circumference of the flap (around 12 mm).
