Case description

During cataract surgery there are some uncommon complications which may happen. The posterior capsule rupture during lens implant insertion is presented on this video. Proper management: removal of the offending lens, performance of a small gauge anterior vitrectomy and placement of new lens with the optic capture method. The end result is normal vision for the patient and a great outcome.
