Case description

The case illustration describes endovascular coiling of a large posterior communicating artery aneurysm in the presence of fetal variant of the posterior cerebral artery. In this case, coiling was performed using balloon remodeling technique. It was considered to not place a flow diversion device as there is a high likelihood of the aneurysm not getting occluded due to the presence of true fetal variant of the posterior cerebral artery.
