Case description
Microsurgery remains the gold standard in the treatment of giant cerebral aneurysms. In those cases, the endovascular techniques are of less importance, since it allows to avoid the mass effect caused by the aneurysm sac filled with coils. During the microneurosurgical operation is crucial to perform the modeling of the aneurysmal neck - a technique promoted by the „father of microneurosurgery" Gazi Yasargil. Our film shows this neck modelling using bipolar coagulation, then clipping and excision of aneurysmal sac.
