This video shows an occlusion of both uterine arteries before laparoscopic myomectomy by medial approach (internal from the infundibulo pelvic ligament). This technique has several advantages. Firstly it reduces bleeding during the surgery. Secondly, it will shrink small fibroids that were missed during the surgery. Lastly it may prevent recurrance of new fibroids.
