Case description
This lap-hernia technique was previously described by Dr. Dulucq (1991) and has been widespread in Brazil by Dr. LOUREIRO since 1999.
What we show here is a LIVE demo of this technique being performed with the new minilaparoscopic new LOW FRICTION trocars. The mini novel trocars make the preperitoneal hernia technique without mesh fixation much easier to be performed. By using thinner trocars, very suitable for a narrow preperitoneal space, a much closer image can be observed and surgery can be done with more dexterity and precision.
