Case description

The patient, a man of 54 years, during two months complained of strong pain in the epigastric area. The night before admission to the hospital he noted melena and lost consciousness. He admitted to hospital with severe anemia, hypotension. Endoscopically we diagnosed cancer of the body of the stomach, with severe bleeding. CT did not show generalization of disease. After preoperative preparation we performed urgent surgery.
