Video shows laparoscopic assisted robotic esophagectomy. Case: 81-year-old woman presented with a 2 month history of dysphagia to solids. Endoscopy: Exophytic mass 33-38cm; 2cm of the gastric cardia involved. EUS: mass extending to periesophageal fat ; maximal thickness 1,4cm; T3N0. Biopsy: invasive adenocarcinoma, moderately to poorly differentiated. Treatment: neoadjuvant chemoradiation therapy with 5-FU completed 3 months proir to surgery.
