Aim of the course
This two-day course is designed to cover the most recent advances in thyroid cancer therapy including methods of detection, treatment and research. At the end of it, participants will be able to discuss the latest thyroid cancer topics and describe how these advances can be applied to their practice. The program consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part will cover the main aspects related to the latest developments in the diagnosis and treatment of thyroid cancer.
The practical part will include several interactive video sessions and discussion of clinical cases as well as a cadaver practice that will cover commonly used surgical techniques to deal with both central and lateral neck dissections. The course is an excellent opportunity to learn and to discuss all aspects of thyroid cancer with leading experts in the field, as well as to practice the surgical treatment of thyroid cancer.
