Before we know it, the World Congress for the Advancement of Surgery (WCAS 2015) will be upon us. As in the past, this unique surgical conference will bring some of the world’s most recognized surgeons and clinicians together for a two day conference to share with us their expertise and their ideas. There will be endless opportunities for the participant to learn from the “giants” who write the articles and shape the future. WCAS 2015 is a fertile ground for the development of academic and research relationships that are sure to advance the practice of surgery for all involved.

WCAS 2015 is sure to be the best one yet, with many upgrades from its highly successful past meetings. Professor Andrew Warshaw will give the Keynote Address on Surgical Decision Making. Sessions on Bariatric Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Colorectal Surgery, Trauma/Acute Care Surgery, Minimally Invasive Surgery, and Surgical Innovations will be populated by state of the art, provocative topics delivered by a prominent global faculty. There will also be a competitive paper presentation session for residents and fellows as well as ePoster walks.

WCAS 2015 will take place at the Hilton Tel Aviv Hotel, October 20-21, 2015. Tel Aviv is a modern, active, beautiful city of beaches, restaurants, museums, and nightclubs located centrally in Israel. It is not more than a few hour’s ride to any of the must see sites in Israel. The hotel is situated on the beach and the views of the Mediterranean Sea are breathtaking. The weather in October is perfect. You will not find a nicer place to spend some time. Sit outside and enjoy the calming sound of the sea contrasted by the hustle and bustle of this vibrant city. Then, tour a country rich is history, culture, and spirituality.
