It is our pleasure to announce the 2015 Otological Microsurgery Course with Emphasis on Minimally Invasive Techniques (OMMIT). It is jointly organized by the Department of ENT, Head and Neck Surgery, Inselspital and the Institute of Anatomy, University of Bern. Over the years, OMMIT has established itself as a high-class educational event for otologic surgeons.

This course will strongly emphasize anatomical whole-head dissection. Individual dissection sessions will be framed by lectures and live anatomical demonstrations. This will cover the theoretical background, the step-by-step guide through the procedures, and open discussion with the faculty, which comprises otologic experts from the University of Bern. Feedback from former course participants made us allocate even more time to hands-on dissection!

As a special highlight participants will be able to watch three different live surgeries carried out at Inselspital, Bern during the course.

We are looking forward to meeting you in Bern in September!
