- The German Society for Orthopaedics and Trauma (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Orthopädie und Unfallchirurgie e. V.) (DGOU) – is a scientific specialist society with approximately 10 000 members and holds its office in Berlin. It represents the interests of all who are active in the field of orthopaedics and trauma surgery regarding research, teaching, education, clinical and practical applications as well as in field of regulatory health policy.
