With the motto “Diversity United”, participants in the DKOU 2020 can expect exciting conferences and discussions with international experts presenting the most cutting-edge findings in research and care in orthopaedics and trauma surgery.
The German Congress for Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery (DKOU), in its latest edition with over 11,600 participants, is the most important congress in O&U in Germany, and even across Europe is the largest in its field.
The DKOU is organised by the German Society for Orthopaedics and Orthopaedic Surgery (DGOOC), the German Trauma Society (DGU) and the Professional Association for Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery (BVOU).

A few weeks ago, DKOU 2020 was officially canceled due to the restrictions resulting from the global pandemic. However, the sections, working groups, and industry partners should still have the opportunity for education and product presentation this year. Therefore, the newly developed virtual platform “#digitalOU2020” will be offered during the actual DKOU week from 19 to 23 October 2020. The best from O and T will be presented daily from 17:00-21:00 h, including video sessions, pre-recorded videos, and live streams. Every day will have the main topic, e.g. “upper extremity“, “pelvis/hip“, “knee/foot“ or “spine“.
