Case description

In this video, dr Puri will overview the basic steps I follow in a simple, uncomplicated, tooth extraction. In the extraction we begin by separating the periodontal ligaments holding the tooth with the aid of the periosteum elevator and periotome, followed by elevation of the tooth with proximators and exfoliation using a first molar forcep. Dental extractions are among the most common surgical procedures performed at a dentist and oral surgeons office.
