Case description

Early after open heart surgery (CABG), in intensive care unit patient was hypotensive, had sinus tachycardia, jugular vein distension and anemia. Urgent TEE was done and showed large localized pericardial effusion (hematoma), compressing right atrium and right ventricle (tamponade) with multiple fibrin strands inside.
