Case description

There are two main types of transplant rejection. T-cell mediated and antibody mediated and antibody mediated transplant rejection. These rejections are divided into hyperacute, acute and chronic rejection. In order to reduce and prevent solid organ rejection, patients who receive an organ transplant take immunosuppressive agents to suppress their immune system. In this video we will focus on antibody mediated rejection and try to understand the pathophysiology and treatment.
