NSpine was founded in 2013 with a simple promise: by surgeons, for surgeons. From the outset, our aim was to build an independent learning platform where working surgeons, and the wider spine community of anesthetists, therapists, engineers, and industry colleagues, could meet on equal footing to share what truly matters: practical technique, sound judgment, and better outcomes for our patients.Independence sits at the heart of NSpine. We keep politics, hierarchies, and commercial agendas out of the driver’s seat, while welcoming constructive collaboration with med tech partners whose innovations directly impact the care we deliver. That balance allows us to focus relentlessly on real world problem solving, hands on training anchored in robust theory, and the steady transfer of skills from one generation of surgeons to the next.What keeps us committed is not targets or metrics: it is the messages from colleagues who averted complications using techniques learned in our labs; it is the moments when a concept clicks at a workstation; it is watching new faculty step forward to teach and improve on what came before. NSpine’s currency is shared knowledge and surgical mastery. Whenever capacity allows, we expand programs, record content, and broaden access, because that is our purpose.As we continue to grow, the mission remains unchanged. NSpine exists to equip working surgeons with relevant, accessible, world class education, blending theory with practice, and fostering open exchange across disciplines.
