The objectives of this course are to provide an intensive, comprehensive survey of recent advances in internal medicine with emphasis on the correlation of clinical medicine with current concepts in biological science. Application to patient care will be stressed. Extensive lecture notes are distributed to highlight the subjects covered and to provide a permanent record of the course. Instruction is carried out at an advanced level under the direction of expert physicians in each specialty area.
