Neuroimaging is a rapidly advancing field with frequent new developments in scanning modalities, protocols, clinical indications, patient management, and post-processing techniques. Each of these can result in a lag in knowledge, competence, and performance among practioners.

The educational objective of this intensive two-day course is to provide a comprehensive, focused review of the major basic and advanced principles of clinical diagnostic neuroradiology. Specifically, we will emphasize the management, acquisition, and interpretation of structural and functional imaging studies of the brain, spine, and extra-cranial head and neck, with a goal towards appropriate application of clinical imaging algorithms, implementation of relevant recent technical advances, and formulation of differential diagnoses.

The educational methods used in this course will include didactic lectures, review of evidence-based diagnostic and treatment algorithms, Q&A discussions, and interactive case based conferences.
