Welcome to the XXVIII IFSO World Congress 2025 in Santiago, Chile. This is an exciting time for our field because combined treatment strategies will herald a new dawn for the treatment of obesity. The evolution of surgical techniques, new medications and endoscopic therapies need our critical evaluation. This congress will bring together world leaders from many disciplines focused on treating obesity. Sessions will be provocative and exciting with the goal of delivering better treatment for the pandemic of obesity.
