Cleveland Clinic's 16th Diastology, Valve and New Imaging Technologies Summit: Featuring Multimodality Imaging Mini Symposium provides a unique opportunity for attendees to interact with key opinion leaders and receive updates in heart valve disease, new imaging technologies, diastology, and multimodality imaging. The Summit will be held February 24-27, 2013 at the Marriott Key Largo Bay Hotel, Key Largo, Florida.

The Summit is divided into the following four parts:

Heart Valve Disease will present a state-of-the-art mini symposium on new advances in valvular heart disease including epidemiology, clinical diagnostic approaches to mitral, tricuspid, and aortic regurgitation and aortic stenosis, as well as new approaches to valve repair including robotics and percutaneous and transcatheter techniques. An emphasis on the LVAD and myectomy program at the Cleveland Clinic will be discussed.

New Imaging Technologies will highlight new and emerging applications in 3-D and 4-D echo, real time 3-D TEE, 2-D strain, stress echo, cardiac resynchronization, contrast echocardiography, and interventional echo.
Diastology will present a basic and advanced summit on diastolic heart failure including new guidelines, epidemiology, clinical diagnostic approaches, specific diseases and effects of therapy of diastolic heart failure, hemodynamic monitoring, and clinical trials.

Multimodality Imaging will present a state-of-the-art mini symposium on the basic principles of multimodality imaging, including CT and cardiac MR as well as clinical applications in coronary artery disease, cardiomyopathies, viability and aortic diseases.
