We do think of translational research and drug discovery as a one-way street. It all starts with the identification of a molecular mechanism and later on eventually leading to a drug that can specifically target a component.
2nd International Conference on Translational Medicine (Translational Medicine-2013) provides introduction to the emerging field of Translational Medicine. This conference will cover the driving forces behind the development of Translational Medicine and its impact in meshing together advances in science and medicine. It can be defined in terms of promoting multidisciplinary interactions between science and medicine to enhance disease research and drug development.
