Due to the continued spread and impact of COVID-19 across the world, the 6th McMaster International Review Course (MIRCIM 2020) with EFIM Day, previously rescheduled for September this year, has been canceled.
With the high level of uncertainty regarding further development of the pandemic, international travel bans, and other local restrictions in the upcoming months, the Organizing Committee has made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s meeting and hold the 6th edition of MIRCIM in 2021.
Although it comes with deepest disappointment and regret, we feel that the decision to cancel MIRCIM 2020 is our social responsibility in the fight against the coronavirus.
At the same time, recognizing the need for continuing medical education, we are planning to develop a series of virtual lectures/webinars. Details will be sent via our newsletter.
We remain committed to our work and have started preparations for the next year’s meeting to ensure the 6th McMaster International Review Course in Internal Medicine with EFIM Day, held in 2021, will be an engaging event with prominent experts and a large audience from around the world. All current registered participants may either request a full refund or transfer their registration to MIRCIM 2021 with EFIM Day, which will take place on May 6–8, 2021, in Kraków, Poland.
