6th CECON & 15th Slovak Congress on Obesity

On behalf of the Obesitology Section of Slovak Diabetes Society it gives me the greatest pleasure to invite you to participate at the 6th Central European Congress on Obesity (CECON) and 15th Slovak Congress on Obesity 2017 which will take place from 5–7 October 2017 at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Bratislava, Slovakia.
We are very excited to be hosting this important conference in Bratislava. We hope to follow in the successful footsteps of the Central European region meetings in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic (2008), Budapest, Hungary (2009), Olsztyn, Poland (2011), Cluj-Napoca, Romania (2013) and Budapest, Hungary (2015).
Thanks to efforts of international scientific committee the programme will be informative and practical, integrating the many different aspects of obesity, including surgical interventions and will give maximum opportunity for interaction between delegates and experts and more opportunity for researchers to present their findings and to develop collaborations. The programme will be designed with diversity for clinicians, practitioners, physicians, nutritionists, surgeons and researchers working in the field of obesity and its co-morbidities. Abstract Submission was opened in January 2017.
We hope, that the 6th Central European Congress on Obesity (CECON) and 15th Slovak Congress on Obesity 2017 will be a very important obesity meeting and so supporting be a strategically important decision for exhibitors and sponsors. The members of the local organizing committee are very proud to be hosting the Central European Congress on Obesity (CECON) 2017 and look forward to welcoming you to our city and country. Bratislava and its surroundings are an amazing place to visit. Majestic churches, charming burgher houses and elegant palaces, tiny squares and romantic little streets, and towering over all this, the stately Castle, visible from afar. You can find everything here, but on a small scale.
The meeting promises to be highly rewarding on an intellectual basis as well as on a social basis.
