Case description

Transthoracic echocardiography apical view shows the mutilated posteromedial papillary muscle with flail anterior mitral leaflet and hyperkinetic left ventricular walls.
(Rupture was spontaneous - without specific aetiology i.e.: myocardial infarction, endomyocarditis or sudden deceleration or trauma....)
