Dr. Christopher Schlachta is an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery and Oncology at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at The University of Western Ontario. He is the Medical Director of CSTAR, a Lawson Scientist and practitioner of MIS at both, the London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) and St. Joseph’s Health Care, London. He was the inaugural fellow of the MIS Training Program at the former Wellesley Hospital. He was then appointed Division Head of General Surgery at St. Michael’s Hospital, where he received awards for medical student and resident teaching.
