80% of the time, I've had to reduce the denture base in order to create space for teeth. We've been instructed to remove denture base before hollow grinding denture teeth.why not keep the denture base thin to start with? Just be careful.

I was taught to use a transmetal bur, 557 or diamond bur to section a PFM crown. Dr. K waltzed by and suggested I use a 330. I was like.come on - really? It works.
