The video shows a peripheral stenosis of a mediastinal trachea. The flexible endoscope was passed through the stomal/grid button. The lumen of the trachea is narrowed of around 30%. The mucous membrane is covered with fresh granulation and fibrinous exudate. We can see several areas of mucosal abrasion and tracheobronchial pulsation originating from the nearby mediastinal vessels. The patent carina was visualised.
