Case description

Abnormally dilated vessels of the Little's area (part of the nasal septum) are visualized. The potential bleeding may occur spontaneously or after injury (like digging in the nostril). Pinching of the soft nasal part (for 3-5 minutes) and breathing with the open mouth is the prefered way of first aid. An alternative method includes sucking small ice cuble in the mouth to constrict the vessels and stop the bleeding. If it doesn't help, you should search for a doctor.
