Case description

Phonatory disturbance is potentially caused by involuntary, abnormal movements ot larynx. The lack of neuromuscular coordination affects structures of pharynx and larynx and as a result the voice is interrupted and shaky. The possible etiologies are localized dystonias and Parkinson's disease. An abnormal jerky movements of pharynx are presented in this video. During the phonation of the word "eeeeeee" by patient we can hear tremulous voice. Vocal folds abnormatilies hasn't been visualized.
